Potato Festival Recap

DSC02897The 41st Annual Potato Festival was a busy and happening place to be over the weekend. The streets were crowded all weekend long.

Friday night’s parade was packed with great floats and entertainment. The DSC02894sidewalks were crowded with spectators and an air of joviality rang throughout. A great kick-off to the weekend.

The library hosted our annual book sale on Saturday, and even through the scorching heat, the sale was a success. We’d like to send a great big thank you to everyone who supported us at the sale.

If you missed the sale, but would like anotherDSC02896 chance to get great books for great prices, we do have a couple of tables set up in the lobby for the first part of this week.

We’d love to hear your highlights from the Potato Festival and see your pictures. Share your thoughts with us here, on our twitter feed @NewTecumsethPL, or on our Facebook page.
