New Tecumseth Public Library is pleased to present the inaugural One Book, One New Tecumseth event this summer featuring Above All Things by Tanis Rideout. The goal is to get all of new Tecumseth reading and discussing the same book.

Join: Join the experience! New Tecumseth Public Library invites you to join a community-wide reading experience where residents come together to read and discuss one book.

Read: Join your community, friends and   family in reading Above All Things by Tanis Rideout to create a community-wide reading connection. We have chosen this title due to its broad appeal to both men and women. The novel moves between the epic story of George Mallory’s final expedition to Mount Everest and the compelling account of a day in the life of his wife, Ruth. Request or purchase your copy of this great book at any branch of the library – books will be available for purchase for $15.

Discuss: Join the conversation: have your book club discuss Above All Things or register for one of the book club discussion groups hosted by New Tecumseth Public Library. Watch our website For more details on the events connected with this community experience.

Connect: Connect with the author and with your community. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 22nd from 7-9 pm and plan to be a part of the Author Event featuring Tanis Rideout at the Gibson Centre. Enjoy an Author Talk followed by a book-signing. Tickets will go on sale July 8th starting at $10.

Enjoy a great read, participate in a book club discussion and, meet the author: there are so many ways to be involved in this community experience. More details to follow!
